Hands on with the Dyson Handheld Vac…

We picked up the Dyson Upright Animal Vacuum a few years ago, and I really love it. It really does make vacuuming fun. It works and really works well. I remember first using it, I walked in to the room and saw all this cat hair and gunk in the container, I was like, “Wow! you got all that crap from vacuuming the living room!” My wife corrected me… NO, That is from vacuuming this 4 foot square area of the living room.”

I was blown away on how well this vacuum worked. They are expensive, but they are worth it.

So when I saw that Dyson was going to release a handheld vacuum that doesn’t lose suction I followed it for a few months.. and then Bam! They had it up at Amazon.com I placed the order so fast, unfortunately it still wasn’t to ship for almost a month a half, luckily we did receive it before Christmas to gift to my wife.

It feels light and comfortable to use… there is some trigger/button resistance that does make for some hand fatigue in using it.

The one that is a little strange is that the mount has to attach to the wall on it’s side. So that the vac sits upright. So I haven’t really found a good place to mount this in our laundry/utility room. I’d hate to put it in the garage ’cause that defeats the purpose.

Bottom line, this works, and works awesome! There is a bit of torque that twists your wrist a bit when you sqeeze that trigger. I’ve used it dozens of times since Christmas, and is awsome. There is a open latch for the container to dump the junk, and there is a washable filter that is to be cleaned every three months.
