Macworld – Day 2 (Tuesday)
Okay… hold on tight….It’s the Big One! WOW! I’m blown away… Obviously… My thought is this… Apple has done it again. Like they have with the iPod back in 2001, Apple has changed the world with the iPhone. This is an unbelivable device that, unfortunately, I will spend the insanely high ($599) price for. Hey, with it not available until June, I have 6months to figure out how to pay for it, right? In comparison, though I know people that have paid over $600 for an unlocked Nokia phone from Europe… So for a product that does all what the iPhone can do. It will be amazing. I’m not sure if I’m ready to switch carriers… However. I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for quite sometime, and in the St. Paul/Minneapolis and service is awesome. I’ll have to investigate Cingular’s service, and service plans… then truly make my decision. But I have pics! Check’em out below.
I love good marketing

Some Apple Dude showing off the phone… He actually had one in his hand!

ahhhh… I love iPhone Under Glass

I love the Apple TV, however… $299? I dunno? I wasn’t aware that it was going to have storage in it, though. So that is cool. I’ll have to think… They aren’t available ’till February, so I have a bit of time… Most likely, I’ll pick one of these up anyway….
Again… I like good marketing

Apple TV Closeup…With the power supply, and hard drive internal… man this puppy gets hot!

So after… working today… we had a company reception that we were all required to go to. It was cool.. It was crowed, they had food, drink, and we could rub elbows with big nuts at other companies in a social-type gathering.
However after spending some time there… I was able to get my hands on a ticket to the exclusive Macworld Blast Party. The club was in a back alley somewhere. it was sponsored by Google, Extreme Mac, and Microsoft Mac Business Unit. This was just sick! It was packed…So i’m not sure really how “exclusive” it was. Again they had drink, eat, music, dancing…whatever.

There was this dude that had that shirt with the equilizer in it, that moved to the sound of the club… Check it below…
And… We had no idea that the surprise Musical Guest was… CHEAP TRICK! Now i’m not what you call a fan, But I love live music, and these dudes rocked the house! They were just rippin’ it up for a bunch of “older” guys. I had no idea that they were as heavy as they were.
